Wire Measuring Devices
Precision wire and cable measuring devices for accurate length measurement. Models for 1-inch to 4-inch diameter cable. Knurled mild steel (standard), knurled hardened steel or urethane measuring wheels. Available with Wireless Digital Display (Standard) and Encoders for Stop to Length or remote readouts.
Wire Guides are available and recommended when processing anything 50% smaller than maximum diameter capacity cable. Hardened inserts are available and recommended for MC or wire rope.
Wire Measuring Devices Built for Accuracy and Durability
Guaranteed to .005% accuracy, Graham International wire measuring devices are heavy-duty precision instruments designed for accurate length measurement in demanding industrial environments. Available in four models covering wire and cable diameters from 1 inch through 4 inches, our measuring devices feature measuring wheels on precision ball bearings, heavy-duty springs to prevent slipping on slick wire, and counters positioned in direct view of the operator.
The M100 measures material up to 1 inch in diameter and ships standard with our manual coiling machines. The M200WD measures up to 2 inches and comes standard with powered coiling machines — it adds a wireless digital counter that displays in feet and inches or meters and tenths of a meter at the push of a button, with a built-in battery-level indicator. The M200E encoder version provides electronic length output for stop-to-length and automated systems integration. The M300 handles up to 3 inches and the M400 measures up to 4 inches in diameter, covering the heavy conductor and cable sizes used in manufacturing and utility applications.
All models feature plated steel construction and ergonomic grip handles built for extended use. Calibration Test Cables — the TC-100 (100-foot) and TC-30M (30-meter) — are available for on-site calibration verification, confirming your measuring device is reading accurately before a measurement run. Calibration is fast and straightforward, keeping your operation’s cut lengths accurate without sending equipment out for service.
Graham International also manufactures adjustable-height measuring device stands built to specification for each model. Stands provide ergonomic operator positioning at a comfortable working height, reducing fatigue during high-volume measuring operations and keeping the counter in the operator’s direct line of sight. All measuring devices are compatible with our full range of coiling machines, takeup machines, and payout machines — making it straightforward to add accurate length measurement at any point in your wire handling process.
Whether you are measuring conductor at an electrical wholesale distribution counter, verifying cut lengths on a manufacturing floor, or checking spool footage in the field, Graham International wire measuring devices deliver the accuracy and durability your operation requires. Every measuring device is made in the USA and backed by our 2-year component plus 5-year craftsmanship warranty. Contact us to find the right model for your wire diameter and application.
